Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore was born in Culver City California in 1975. Her first appearance on camera was when she did a commercial for dog food when she was 11 months old. Soon spots for Pillsbury chocolate-chip cookies and rice krispies cereal. When she was 2 years old she appeared in her first made-for-TV film Suddenly Love and another TV movie Bogie. After her success in ET she became popular she also appeared in Firestarter and the Cat’s Eye. Her personal life was taking a drastic change. At the mere age of 9 Drew got drunk at a party for Rob Lowe. Within a year she was smoking marijuana and taking cocaine. At this time she was in a number of TV movies including The Adventures of Con Sawyer and Hucklemary Finn, Babes in Toyland, and Conspiracy of Love. Soon her heavy partying forced her mother to send Drew to a drug rehabilitation clinic. Drew soon sneaked away from the clinic and using her mother’s credit card she ran back to California but was caught. She then had to appear in an after school special about living a drug free life however she was still heavily addicted to drugs. In 1989 she attempted to commit suicide and then had another stint in rehab but this time it worked. At age 15 she shocked many by getting a legal separation from her mother insisting she was a bad influence. In 1990 she wrote an autobiography. Soon she would go on to appear in more films including Poison Ivy, Guncrazy, The Amy Fisher Story, Doppelganger, and Wayne’s World 2. Soon after she appeared in Bad Girls, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, and in 1995 she appeared nude in Playboy magazine. As she got older she became more mature. By 1998 she created her own production company, Flower Films. She was married to Jeremy Thomas in 1994 for a little over a month. She married Tom Green for 5 months in 2001. She was also engaged to Fabrizio Moretti but the two called it quits in 2007. She also dated Justin Long for about a year.
