How to Configure DNS

A stand alone server running Windows Server 2003 is actually a DNS server for your network. Here I am going to teach you how to configure DNS for your server. In the first step, you will assign this server a static IP address. DNS servers cannot use dynamically assigned IP addresses ,because a sudden change of the IP address could cause contact with the DNS server to be interrupted.

• Configure TCP/IP

First click Start and highlight Control Panel, then highlight Network Connections, and then click Local Area Connection. Next, click Properties, then click Internet Protocol, then Properties. Now click the General tab, then click Use the following IP address, provide the correct IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway address in the appropriate boxes. Click Advanced, and then click the DNS tab. Click Append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes. Click the Append parent suffixes of the primary DNS suffix check box. Click Register this connection’s addresses in the DNS check box. Finally, Click OK three times.
NOTE: DNS servers running Windows Server 2003 must point to themselves for DNS. If this server needs to resolve names from its Internet service provider, then you must configure a forwarder.
NOTE: If you receive a warning from the DNS Caching Resolver service, click OK to dismiss the warning. The caching resolver is trying to contact the DNS server, but you have not finished configuring the server.

• Install Microsoft DNS Server

First click Start and highlight Control Panel, then click Add or Remove Programs. Next click Add or Remove Windows Components. Under the Components list select Networking Services (don’t clear the check box though). Now click Details. Select the Domain Name System check box, and then click OK. Now click Next and when you are prompted to insert the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM into the computer’s CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, do so. When you see the Completing the Windows Components Wizard page, click Finish once the Setup is complete. Finally, click Close to close the Add or Remove Programs window.

• Configure the DNS Server

In order to configure DNS using the DNS snap-in in Microsoft Management Console, follow these steps: Click Start and highlight Programs, then highlight Administrative Tools and click DNS. Right-click Forward lookup zones, and then click New Zone. After the New zone Wizard starts click Next.
When you are prompted for a zone type accept the default name for the new zone file, click Next
NOTE: If you are an experienced DNS administrator then you may want to create a reverse lookup zone, and are encouraged to explore this branch of the wizard. A DNS server can resolve two basic requests: a forward lookup and a reverse lookup. A forward lookup is more common. A forward lookup resolves a host name to an IP address with an “A” or Host Resource record. A reverse lookup resolves an IP address to a host name with a PTR or Pointer Resource record. If you have your reverse DNS zones configured, you can automatically create associated reverse records when you create your original forward record.

• Configuring DNS Behind a Firewall –

The following exceptions may cause conflicts to occur between your firewall and the DNS during configuration:
Proxy and Network Address Translation devices may restrict access to ports. DNS uses UDP port 53 and TCP port 53. The DNS Service Management console also uses RCP. RCP uses port 135.

In late April, the NFL held its annual draft, in which the 32 teams pick the best players out of the NCAA over the course of seven rounds. The general managers of these teams make their picks using a lot of information available to them. Many of the players who choose to enter the draft are invited to participate in the NFL combine, a weeklong extravaganza in February where general managers, coaches, scouts and other interested NFL personnel put these players through an exorbitant amount of exercises and drills.

Other than watching NCAA games on television, this is the best way for a scout to see what a young player is all about. After this combine, and even beforehand, scouts usually compile player profiles for these individual draft prospects. A player profile is a succinct guide to an athlete’s strengths, weaknesses, habits and, in rare cases, vices. This kind of player profile is found in a majority of team sports that use a draft, including basketball and baseball as well. An individual sport like tennis does not have this same kind of formal player profiles. There is simply no need for them. She has become such an accomplished player thanks to on the net play that frightens even the best opponents. Unlike most players in today’s game, she rushes the net after her serve, a style most players are not accustomed to. She has a lethal forehand ground-stroke. She is also very versatile in the way she serves. All in all, she is one of the more unpredictable forces on the tour. Roger Federer was once named the best tennis player of all-time by the Tennis Channel. It’s hard to argue with this. While most players specialize on certain types of surfaces, Federer is known for his superb ability to adapt to any surface he is playing on. He is as good on the baseline as he is on the net. He is one of the fastest players in the game, which makes his ability to cover all parts of the court nearly impossible for opposing players to deliver lethal blows. Many have stated that his unbelievably powerful forehand motion may be the best shot any player currently possesses in the game of tennis. Djokovic and Federer have played 24 times, and Federer has won 14 of these matches. Their head-to-head matches are defined by powerful shots and a fast-paced tempo.

Victoria Azarenka
Djokovic’s female counterpart as the number one ranked player in the world is Victoria Azarenka. Like Djokovic, Azarenka is known for power that shakes her opponents. She is powerful no matter the type of shot. No matter where opponents put the ball, Azarenka has the ability to send it back like a rocket. Her speed, while solid, is her main weakness. She is by no means slow, but there are faster plays on the tennis circuit to be sure. In the five matches that Azarenka and Samantha Stosur have played, Azarenka has won all of them. As good as Stosur is, she has simply yet not found a way to combat Azarenka’s wicked force.

Cheating is a popular game. It is a popular game to be with someone else emotionally and sexually when you have already established that you are serious about one main person. It has become so popular that it is seen as the norm in the western culture. It is nothing “˜new under the sun’ and it is not something alarming or surprising if someone finds out that you have been cheating. It is as common as the air we breathe. What is not so common is how to stop cheating. However, if we know how to stop it, then it would help to create a lot of happy and fulfilling relationships.

  • Observe what triggers off your cheating. It is not enough to know why you cheat. When you make a mental note of what triggers you off or how you cheat, then you can control yourself better by avoiding certain things. It can be your guide to stop cheating.
  • Write down the things that are valuable to you. When you put your values into focus, you may realize that cheating is destroying what you stand for and transforming you into a weak, pathetic individual with no strong character of upright morals and values.
  • After you write down your values, it is significantly important to examine why you cheat. Write down all your reasons for cheating, and ask yourself this question “is it worth it?” Is it worth it to treat your partner with disrespect, neglect, hurt and selfishness?

  • Afterwards, scrutinize your relationship. Look at the areas that could have been improved with a little more intimacy, affection and care. Look deeply into your relationships and try to find out the needs that were not met. After this assessment, you can be true about your emotions about the relationship and now you can think clearly about what you need to do to move forward.
  • When you think about your values, think about your reasons for doing things and assess what your relationship is about. You can now have a new drawing board of choices . . . what are you going to do now? If you come to the conclusion that the relationship is still valuable to you then, it is best break off all ties from outside the main relationship. Determine within yourself that you will stay faithful in the relationship.
  • If your main relationship is no longer important to you, then you need to be honest with your partner and leave instead of hurting each other.

  • Trying to change bad habits may be difficult; therefore, you may need professional help. A counsellor or therapist may be useful to you and help you get over some of your bad behaviours.
  • If you are cheating out of revenge, remember that two wrongs do not make a right.
  • Remember that cheating is very hurtful emotionally as well as physically. It can be risky behaviour. One of you might contract a sexually transmitted disease outside of the relationship and then you infect each other. This further compounds the problem and makes the situation sour. It is best to go your separate ways if cheating is difficult to stop. There is no sense in destroying each other.
